What this tool does
When a page on your site that other sites link to returns a 404 or goes offline, every backlink pointing to it is wasted — the link equity vanishes. This is one of the most common and fixable SEO problems. This checker takes your list of linked-to URLs and reports which are live, which redirect, and which are broken, so you can restore or redirect them and win back the value those links were passing.
How to use it
It is instant:

Reading the results
Each URL shows its HTTP status code and a simple label. <strong>Live (2xx)</strong> means the page is fine. <strong>Redirect (3xx)</strong> means it forwards elsewhere — usually okay, but a direct 200 is ideal and you should check the target. <strong>Not found (404/410)</strong> means the page is gone and any backlinks to it are wasted. <strong>Dead host / error</strong> means the server didn't respond at all.
How to reclaim lost links
For a broken page that has backlinks, you have two good options: bring the page back at the same URL, or set up a <code>301 redirect</code> from the old URL to the closest relevant live page. A 301 passes most of the link equity to the new destination, so the backlinks keep working. This is often the fastest, highest-ROI SEO fix available, because you're recovering authority you already earned.

The tool sends a lightweight request to each URL from our server and reads the first status code it returns, without following redirects, so you see the real response.
