Fetch a URL (or paste markup), detect JSON-LD structured data, and see which Google rich results it qualifies for — with missing required and recommended fields.

All tools
We fetch the page and extract its JSON-LD structured data.

Checks eligibility for Article, Product, Recipe, FAQ, How-to, Event, Breadcrumb, Video, Job posting, Local business, Review and more — flagging missing required and recommended fields. Just have raw markup to validate syntax? Use the Schema Validator.

About the Rich Results Eligibility Tester

Fetch any URL (or paste your markup) to see which Google rich results your structured data qualifies for — and exactly which required and recommended fields are missing.

What this tool does

It extracts the JSON-LD structured data from a page and maps each type to the Google rich result it can produce, then checks the fields Google requires and recommends. You get a clear eligible / not-yet verdict per feature with a punch list of what to add.

Rich result types it checks

Coverage includes the most common Google features:

  • Article, Product snippets, Recipe, FAQ, How-to and Event
  • Breadcrumb, Video, Job posting and Local business
  • Review snippets, Aggregate rating, Organization/Logo and Sitelinks search box

How it differs from a schema validator

A validator checks whether markup you paste is syntactically correct. This tool goes further: it fetches the live page, finds all the structured data actually served, and evaluates real rich-result eligibility against Google's field requirements. For quick syntax checks of raw markup, use the Schema Validator instead.

How to use the results

Fix every red 'missing required field' first — without those, the feature will not appear. Then add the recommended fields to maximize how your result looks in search. Re-test after deploying, and confirm in Google Search Console's Rich Results report.

FAQ

Does eligibility guarantee a rich result will show?
No. Meeting the requirements makes you eligible, but Google decides at query time based on quality, relevance, and policy. This tool confirms the technical prerequisites.
Can I test staging or local pages?
Only publicly reachable URLs can be fetched. For pages behind a login or firewall, paste the markup or full HTML instead.
Which structured data format does it read?
JSON-LD, which is the format Google recommends. If a page uses only microdata, the tool notes it but focuses analysis on JSON-LD.
Why does it say no structured data found?
The page has no <script type="application/ld+json"> block, or it is injected by JavaScript after load. Server-rendered JSON-LD is detected reliably; client-injected markup may not be.
