Information We Collect

1. Content You Input

When you use our tools (word counter, meta tag generator, etc.), you paste or input content. This content is processed client-side in your browser whenever possible and is not stored on our servers. For server-side tools (like redirect checker), the data is used only to generate results and is immediately discarded after processing.

2. Server Logs

Like most websites, we collect standard server logs including:

• IP addresses
• Browser type and version
• Pages visited and timestamps
• Referring website

These logs are used solely for security, performance optimization, and understanding general traffic patterns. They are not sold or shared with third parties.

3. Cookies

We use minimal cookies only for essential website functionality. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and use privacy-focused solutions.

Browser Extension: SEOLust – On-Page SEO Checker

We publish a free Chrome extension, SEOLust – On-Page SEO Checker, that analyzes the on-page SEO of the web page you are currently viewing. This section explains how the extension handles data.

What the extension accesses

When you click the SEOLust icon in your browser toolbar, the extension reads the content of the current page only — such as the title, meta tags, headings, links, images, canonical and robots directives, Open Graph and structured data, and visible text — in order to calculate on-page SEO metrics.

Local processing only

All analysis runs locally inside your browser. The extension does not send the pages you analyze, your browsing history, or any personal data to SEOlust or to any third party. Nothing is stored on our servers, and no page data is retained after you close the popup.

Permissions

• activeTab — lets the extension read the current tab, and only when you click the icon.
• scripting — lets the extension run its analysis script on that page to gather SEO data.

The extension does not run in the background, does not track your browsing, and requires no account. Links inside the extension (for example, the "Fix with…" tool links) open pages on SEOlust.com in a new tab only when you choose to click them.

Browser Extension: Bulk Delete Tweets

We publish a free Chrome extension, Bulk Delete Tweets, that lets you bulk-delete your own tweets, replies, and posts on X (x.com / twitter.com). This section explains how that extension handles data.

What the extension accesses

The extension runs only on X (x.com and twitter.com). It adds a control panel to your own profile, detects the posts authored by your account, and deletes them on your behalf using the X session you are already logged into. It never asks for your password, and it only ever targets your own posts — quote tweets, replies from other people, and suggested posts are automatically skipped.

Local processing only

Everything runs locally inside your browser. The extension has no server and no database. It does not send your tweets, your browsing history, your login, or any personal data to SEOlust or any third party. The only network requests it makes are the delete requests sent directly to X — exactly what happens when you delete a post manually, just automated.

What it stores

The extension saves a single small item on your device via the browser's local storage: a daily deletion counter (a date and a number). This exists only to enforce the built-in daily safety limit and resets automatically each day. It never leaves your device.

Permissions

• storage — to save the local daily-limit counter described above.
• Host access to x.com and twitter.com — required so the panel can appear on your X profile and send delete requests to X. The extension does not run on, or read, any other website.

Note: deletion is permanent. Bulk Delete Tweets is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp. Automating actions on X is subject to X's Terms of Service.

Browser Extension: Color Picker & Eyedropper

We publish a free Chrome extension, Color Picker & Eyedropper, a color tool for developers and designers that lets you pick, convert, save, and export colors. This section explains how that extension handles data.

What the extension accesses

When you use the eyedropper, the extension uses your browser's built-in EyeDropper API to read the single pixel color you click — nothing else. It does not read the content of the pages you visit and requests no access to any website. The manual picker, format conversions, contrast checker, and palette tools all work from color values you enter or pick.

Local processing only

Everything runs locally inside your browser. The extension has no server and no database. It does not send your colors, your browsing history, or any personal data to SEOlust or any third party, and it makes no network requests of any kind.

What it stores

The extension saves your own color data on your device via the browser's local storage: your recent colors (up to the last 20) and your saved palette (the color values you save and any names you give them). This never leaves your device, and you can clear or delete it at any time from within the extension.

Permissions

• storage — to save your recent colors and palette locally, as described above.

The extension requests no host or website permissions, does not run in the background, does not track your browsing, and requires no account. The eyedropper uses the browser's native EyeDropper API, which needs no additional permission. All code is bundled in the extension package — no remote code is loaded.

Browser Extension: Font Finder

We publish a free Chrome extension, Font Finder, that identifies the fonts used on the web page you are viewing. This section explains how that extension handles data.

What the extension accesses

When you click the Font Finder icon and start inspecting, the extension reads the font styles of the current page only — font family, size, weight, style, line-height, letter-spacing, color, and which fonts the page loads — so it can show you those details and copy the CSS. It reads this via the browser's standard getComputedStyle and does not collect page text, form data, or personal information.

Local processing only

All analysis runs locally inside your browser. The extension has no server and no database. It does not send the pages you inspect, your browsing history, or any personal data to SEOlust or any third party, and it makes no network requests. Nothing is stored after you close the inspector.

Permissions

Browser Extension: Schema Inspector

We publish a free Chrome extension, Schema Inspector, that reads the structured data (schema markup) on the web page you are viewing and validates it. This section explains how that extension handles data.

What the extension accesses

When you click the Schema Inspector icon, the extension reads the structured data of the current page only — its JSON-LD (script[type=application/ld+json]) and microdata (itemscope/itemprop) markup — so it can list the schema types and check required fields. It does not collect page text, form data, or personal information.

Local processing only

All analysis runs locally inside your browser. The extension has no server and no database. It does not send the pages you inspect, your browsing history, or any personal data to SEOlust or any third party, and it makes no network requests. Nothing is stored after you close the popup.

What the extension accesses

When you open the overlay, the extension reads the performance timeline of the current page only — the browser's built-in performance entries (largest-contentful-paint, layout-shift, event timing, navigation and paint timing) — so it can compute and display your Core Web Vitals. It does not collect page text, form data, or personal information.

Local processing only

All measurement runs locally inside your browser. The extension has no server and no database. It does not send the pages you measure, your browsing history, or any personal data to SEOlust or any third party, and it makes no network requests. Nothing is stored after you close the overlay.

Browser Extension: Nofollow / Dofollow Link Highlighter

We publish a free Chrome extension, Nofollow / Dofollow Link Highlighter, that classifies and highlights the links on the web page you are viewing by their rel attribute. This section explains how that extension handles data.

What the extension accesses

When you click the icon, the extension reads the links of the current page only — their URLs, anchor text, and rel attributes — so it can classify them (dofollow, nofollow, sponsored, ugc; internal vs external), highlight them, and optionally export them as CSV on your device. It does not collect form data or personal information.

Local processing only

All analysis runs locally inside your browser. The extension has no server and no database. It does not send the pages you scan, your browsing history, or any personal data to SEOlust or any third party, and it makes no network requests. The CSV export is generated on your device. Nothing is stored after you close the page.

We publish a free Chrome extension, Open Graph & Social Preview, that shows how the web page you are viewing will look when shared on X, Facebook, and LinkedIn, and audits its Open Graph and Twitter meta tags. This section explains how that extension handles data.

What the extension accesses

When you click the icon, the extension reads the meta tags of the current page only — its Open Graph (og:*) and Twitter Card (twitter:*) tags, page title, and description — so it can render the share previews and check which tags are present. It does not collect page text beyond these tags, form data, or personal information.

Local processing & network use

All analysis runs locally inside your browser. The extension has no server and no database, and sends none of your data to SEOlust or any third party. To render the preview cards it loads the page's own preview image (its og:image / twitter:image) — the same image the social networks fetch — which is the only network request it makes. Nothing is stored after you close the popup.

Browser Extension: Meta & Indexability Checker

We publish a free Chrome extension, Meta & Indexability Checker, that tells you whether the web page you are viewing is indexable and shows a snapshot of its key SEO tags. This section explains how that extension handles data.

What the extension accesses

When you click the icon, the extension reads the meta tags of the current page only — its meta robots, canonical, title, description, headings, and related SEO tags. To judge indexability it also checks two things on the same site you are viewing: the page's own response headers (for X-Robots-Tag) and that site's /robots.txt. It does not collect form data or personal information.

Local processing & network use

All analysis runs locally inside your browser. The extension has no server and no database, and sends none of your data to SEOlust or any third party. The only network requests it makes are the two same-origin requests described above (the current page's headers and its robots.txt), used purely to compute the indexability verdict. Nothing is stored after you close the popup.

Browser Extension: UTM Campaign Link Builder

We publish a free Chrome extension, UTM Builder, that builds UTM campaign tracking links from the fields you type. This section explains how that extension handles data.

What the extension accesses

The extension is a self-contained form. It does not read, access, or run on the web pages you visit at all. It only takes the URL and campaign values you type into it and assembles a tagged link.

What it stores

The extension saves your link history and your last form inputs on your device via the browser's local storage, so they're there when you reopen it. This never leaves your device. There is no server, no database, and no network request of any kind.

Permissions

Third-Party Services

Currently, SEOlust does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. If we integrate such services in the future (like privacy-focused analytics), we will:

• Choose only privacy-respecting providers
• Provide opt-out options where applicable

Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect our website and your data:
