The Significance of Laylat ul-Qadr
**Laylat ul-Qadr**, or the Night of Decree, is described in the Quran as being "better than a thousand months." It is the night in which the first verses of the Quran were revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Worshipping on this single night carries immense reward.
When is the Night of Decree?
Although the exact date is unknown, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) instructed Muslims to seek it during the **odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan**. These nights correspond to the nights preceding the 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th, and 29th days of Ramadan. The 27th night is the most commonly observed night across the Muslim world. Our countdown tool allows you to track all these potential dates by simply adjusting the target night in the configuration.
