The Significance of Dussehra/Vijayadashami
**Dussehra** or **Vijayadashami** is a major Hindu festival celebrated at the end of Navratri. It symbolizes the victory of good over evil. The date is the tenth day (Dashami) of the bright fortnight (Shukla Paksha) of the Hindu calendar month of Ashvin.
